| ARMOUR OF FAITH |
| SASRA is an evangelical organization which originally came into being in 1838 and has never had any funding form service sources and is a work of faith whlich is supported by the giving of the Lord's people. Its mission is to befriend Service personnel with a view to their spiritual and moral welfare by hopefully introducing them to a practical experience of the Christian faith. We are given the title Scripture Reader and we are evangelist who, with the permission of the Chaplains and Commanding Officers are allowed to share our Christian faith in the Army and the Air Force. We wear military uniform and we are all ex members of the Forces, both male and female. |
